Total prize money for AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway

After twelve days of action racing weekends during the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, the sport has moved to Kansas for another thriller, AdventHealth 400.

Sunday’s race is expected to be exciting and uncertain as the Next Gen cars will race at Kansas Speedway for the first time. All riders grabbing the net will race to win the 1.5-mile three-oval track.

The action can be enjoyed live on FOX and MRN and will be streamed on Sunday, May 15 at 3 p.m. ET.

Along with the drive to win the race, there will be a solid monetary incentive for drivers to take the top spot. This year, the Cup Series race in Kansas will pocket $7,117,591 and NASCAR’s youngest series, the Truck Series, will bring in $716,932.

On Twitter, Motorsports journalist Bob Pockrass revealed how much money will be won in Kansas in the Cup Series and Truck Series tournaments, stating:

“Wallet for Kansas this weekend (includes all money awarded to Cup teams to compete on a per-race basis as well as money awarded to those teams based on performance over the past three years. including contributions to the points fund). Trophy: 7,117,591 USD Truck: 716,932 USD”

On Saturday, May 14, the Cup Series action in Kansas will begin with practice at 5:00 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying on the same day at 5:35 p.m. ET. Both practice and qualifying races will be broadcast on FS1.

Which NASCAR racer is the most favorite to win the Kansas Highway?

Despite a DNF at Darlington Raceway last week, defending champion Kyle Larson kept the same energy, topping the odd table for another Cup race.

Heading to Kansas, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin and Larson have the top spots on the board of favourites, and these drivers all have +700 odds according to vegasinsider.com.

William Byron and Ross Chastain, who have recorded two wins in their first 12 races, have similar odds of +1000. Last week’s winner Joey Logano has the third best odds of 1200.

The 2022 Cup Series season is long and there will be more ups and downs in the championship standings ahead of the knockout stages as the season approaches.

With so many young drivers showing their mettle at NASCAR’s biggest racing event, the 2022 Series Cup will add some exciting chapters to the sport’s history.
