Tottenham offload TWO players to Galatasaray including £55m transfer flop.. but only one has left for good

TOTTENHAM duo Davinson Sanchez and Tanguy Ndombele have joined Galatasaray.

Defender Sanchez has made a permanent move and £55million midfield flop Ndombele is on loan for this season as Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is quick to execute on his promise to trim his squad.

The Turkish giants have settled on the pair as much of Europe’s transfer deadline is after England’s September 1.

Tottenham have increasingly left the Colombian star Sánchez (27) on the sidelines.

And his confidence may have been shaken even further when he missed a penalty in a penalty shoot-out in Fulham last week in the Carabao Cup KO.

Meanwhile, France’s Ndombele leaves the club temporarily but has the option of a permanent deal next summer for around £13million.

The 26-year-old has been on loan at both old club Lyon and Napoli for the past 18 months.

And that turbulent period shows the disappointment he’s endured in the Premier League since joining Spurs in 2019.

But Ndombele is at least fulfilling his wish for Champions League football.

Galatasaray ended last season with their first Turkish Premier League table in four years.

Postecoglou first gave Ndombele another chance to impress when he took over as manager in June.

But an ankle injury in the pre-season threw the seven-international star back.

And although Ndombele recovered, Australia’s Postecoglou lost patience.
