TRADER Joe fans are salivating at a delicious new baked good – but it might not last forever.

Grocery stores often have new items coming and going.

Such may be the case with the recent launch of Trader Joe’s gluten-free strawberry muffins.

The strawberry muffins are made from a gluten-free flour mix consisting of heavy cream, buttermilk, and sour cream.

While prices may vary by location, a 14-ounce four-pack is listed online for $5.99.

One fan said in a Reddit thread, “Bought these today and they’re delicious!!” Not overly sweet, very juicy, and have a nice strawberry flavor. No artificial strawberry flavor. You would never know they are gluten free. Try them.”

“SO GOOD,” said another, adding a “pleasure on face” emoji.

The shopper also added, “Toast them or heat them up a bit (toaster is best) and put some butter on top and that takes them to a whole other level.”

However, some went a step further and paired the muffins with Madagascar custard bean crème fraîche, which Trader Joe’s calls the “French cousin of American sour cream.”

And of course it has a vanilla touch.

One fan said in a separate Reddit thread while enjoying the new gluten-free muffins: “I put a dollop of the new vanilla bean crème fraiche on top. Dangerously tasty!”

However, a Trader Joe’s staffer confirmed to The US Sun that the French sour cream is “ready for the season”.

There’s no word on when it will come back – but it hasn’t been discontinued.

And it’s unclear if the strawberry muffins have a much longer shelf life, given the “Limited” label on the item online.

Therefore, buyers might want to pick them up and try them out before it’s too late.

MORE TRADER JOE ARTICLES IN THE NEWS

The news comes as Trader Joe’s updates its inventory for the summer.

This includes the return of a popular product from the frozen department known as horchata ice cream.

The item is listed online and is sold in pint format for $3.79.

In addition to the horchata flavor, the other ingredients of the ice cream include cane sugar, milk, cream, palm kernel oil, brown rice flour and cinnamon.

Trader Joe’s recommends consuming the treat right after a Mexican meal.

Unfortunately, however, the grocery retailer broke some unfortunate news as it discontinued several fan favorites.

This includes the vegan ranch crunch salad, a set with kale, romaine lettuce, kale, fried onions, roasted sunflower seeds, carrots, and green onions.

Another product off the shelf is tabbouleh-style hummus.

It consisted of tomato pieces, parsley, onions, mint and some lemon.

Thai Sweet Chili Veggie Burgers, made from a mix of Asian vegetables and rice, are also sold out.

And Trader Joe’s has discontinued the Super Greens Powder Smoothie Mix.

In addition, The US Sun reports on three other articles that the company has discontinued.

Elsewhere, Aldi has discontinued a popular snack.

And Kroger has discontinued a popular snack that fans want back.
