The 30-year-old winger will start the final year of his contract on Thursday but despite the club’s efforts to secure a new contract with Salah in recent weeks, the latest signs suggest the Reds are now preparing for his exit .

As ESPN reported in May, Salah confirmed he would definitely stay at Liverpool next season, although he would now be available for a pre-contract agreement in January if his representatives are unable to change their expectations in contract talks beforehand.

The Egypt international contributed to 36 goals in 36 Premier League games last season and recent speculation suggests Jurgen Klopp’s side have put a £60million price tag on his transfer should any club attempt to to test the water during the current window.

– A number of clubs across Europe are interested in the Ukraine striker Artem Dovbykreveals Ekrem Konur. The 25-year-old is said to be on the radar of Fenerbahce, as well as clubs in England and Germany, with Nottingham Forest and Bayer Leverkusen also said to be chasing him. Dovbyk was a standout player for Dnipro last season, scoring 15 goals in 18 games.

– West Ham United are considering a move for Arnaut Danjuma, according to Sky Sports. Having recently agreed a five-year deal with the goalkeeper Alfons Warzenhof, the Hammers could now turn their attention to the 25-year-old Villarreal winger who impressed in last season’s Champions League. It is understood he has a £40million release clause in his contract.

– Crystal Palace are confident the midfielder will land Cheick Doucoure, according to The Athletic. The 22-year-old made 34 appearances in Ligue 1 last season and the Eagles are reported to be confident personal terms will no longer be an issue once a deal with Lens is agreed.

– AS Roma are considering a move for the Juventus midfielder Arthurwrites Caesar Luis Merlo. Jose Mourinho is reported to have identified him as a target this summer, although Juventus are reluctant to agree to a deal without a significant fee after parting ways with €72m to sign him from Barcelona in 2020. The 25-year-old played 25 games for the Bianconeri in all competitions of the past season.

– AC Milan are planning a reward Rafael Leao with a new five-year contract, reveals Gazzetta dello Sport. The 23-year-old was a key player for the Rossoneri last season and contributed to 19 goals in 34 Serie A games. While his performances have attracted interest from Real Madrid, it is reported that Milan are confident they can reach an agreement with him.
