Trump brands special counsel Jack Smith a ‘deranged psycho’ and ‘hater’ of indicted former president
Donald Trump has lashed out at Special Counsel Jack Smith, branding the federal prosecutor who has accused him of misusing top-secret national security papers a “mentally deranged lunatic” and a “psycho” on social media.
The former president attacked Mr Smith on his Truth Social platform after the Justice Department’s 49-page indictment containing 37 counts against him was released on Friday.
“This is the man who used the IRS to cause the Lois Lerner disaster. He persecuted evangelicals and big faith Americans. “The United States had to apologize and pay huge damages for what this insane lunatic did,” said twice-indicted Mr Trump.
“He had a unanimous defeat in the Supreme Court. His wife is a Trump hater, just like he is a Trump hater – a wacky “psycho” who should have absolutely no dealings with “justice” other than viewing Biden as a criminal, which he is!”
