Donald Trump took notice of Cawthorn’s conduct. There are even rumors that Trump might entice his endorsement. However, on Monday, the former president published an article on Truth Social urging voters to give Cawthorn a second chance.
“At the age of 18, Madison Cawthorn, now a 26-year-old Congressman from the State of North Carolina, went through a life-changing event that fortunately few people will ever suffer. Within seconds, he had lost the right to use the lower half of his body, a traumatic experience to say the least. When Madison was first elected to Congress, he did a great job. Recently, he has made some silly mistakes, which I don’t believe he will make again… give Madison a second chance! ”
