Two stunning Scots beaches named among the best in the world

TWO picturesque beaches in Scotland have made the list of the best in the world.

Holiday experts have named a number of coastal destinations around the world that have the PERFECT beaches for visitors to unwind from the stresses of life.

And given Scotland’s breathtaking views, it’s no wonder more than one made the list.

Yacht vacation company Sun sail We’ve found a wide range of remote locations that are perfect for unwinding.

Beaches in Greece, Croatia and Hawaii all made the top 25 in the world.

And a Scottish beach made it into the top 10.

Seilebost Beach on the Isle of Harris was number seven on the list.

The remote location in the Outer Hebrides is surrounded by nature and offers visitors breathtaking views across the waves to Luskentyre and Taransay.

Further north in Sutherland, another hidden gem has been identified as the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Sandwood Bay offers stunning views and was named “reputedly the most beautiful beach in Britain” by Visit Scotland.

The pristine location is four miles from the nearest road and surrounded by cliffs – the perfect escape to a slice of paradise.

And as you rest on the pink sand, look across the water directly to the North Atlantic.
