Tyson Fury: Netflix viewers are left in awkward confusion after misreading the Furys documentary’s title At Home

The trailer for Tyson Fury’s new Netflix documentary series sparked skepticism from fans after they accidentally misread the title.
Coming to the streaming service on August 16, Tyson Fury: At home with the Furys shows the British boxer trying to balance work with life at home with his wife Paris and their six children.
At the time of filming, Tyson had recently announced his retirement from boxing, but the trailer reveals he’s finding it difficult to give up the sport entirely.
The trailer for the nine-part series was released on Wednesday (July 19), but many viewers admitted they misread or misread the title At home with the Furys as “At Home with the Furries”.
Furries are a fan subculture that likes to embody themselves as anthropomorphic animals. They often dress up in large cartoon fursuits, with many attributing a sexual fetish element to their fandom.
“When I thought of ‘At Home with the Furys,’ I literally thought the show would be about life with Furys,” said one viewer.
“…I’m glad that wasn’t what I thought,” said one relieved fan, while another wrote, “The title looked very different.”
“I really thought this was going to be a furry docu,” wrote one commenter.
“No, I got it wrong 🙁 that would have been a rollercoaster ride,” said another.
“Lol I didn’t read it fast enough,” joked one fan.
“Imagine a Netflix series called ‘At home with the Furries.’ I’d check that out,” joked another viewer.
While the trailer focuses on Tyson, Paris and their children, it also shows the heavyweight champion’s younger brother Tommy Fury with his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.
