UCLA vs. Colorado: Betting odds, lines, picks and predictions

UCLA is visiting Colorado for the opening Pac-12 game for both teams at 11 a.m. Saturday as the Bruins look to remain unbeaten in the season as big favorites.

UCLA starts 3-0 with victories over Bowling Green, Alabama State and South Alabama, but the Bruins are only 2-1 against the spread. They needed to rally last week to beat South Alabama 32-31 and failed at the Rose Bowl as a 15.5-point home favorite.

The Bruins are 21-point street favorites Saturday as Colorado is 0-3 SU & ATS with blowout losses to Texas Christian, Air Force and Minnesota.

UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson rallied the Bruins with a 10-play drive for 61 yards in the last 2 minutes and 52 seconds to set up Nicholas Barr-Mira’s 24-yard field goal on the final play of the game. UCLA had 407 yards of offense, but the worrying part was that the defense allowed 399 yards and 31 points even though Colorado seemed unable to generate that much offense.

Despite the high spread, UCLA pulls 78% of the bets and 91% of the money goes to the Bruins at DraftKings. This usually doesn’t bode well when the vast majority of bettors are on one side (see VSiN’s college football splits page for the latest betting trends).

The sharper bet appears to be on Under 56.5 points as 55% of the bets are on Over but 71% of the money (considered sharper as this means much bigger bets) is on Under.
