UFC 292 card: Sean O’Malley vs Aljamain Sterling and all fights tonight

Rising star Sean O’Malley is set to challenge Aljamain Sterling for the UFC bantamweight title tonight as the pair leads UFC 292.

O’Malley’s crisp and flashy attack has seen him win over many fans, although his personality has proved controversial. In any case, the American has managed to secure a title shot without putting in the effort that many fighters put in, thanks in large part to his profile. However, last year ‘Sugar Sean’ faced off against ex-champion Petr Yan and bested the Russian with a controversial decision win.

Sterling also divides fans but puts together an impressive resume that includes successful title defenses against former champions Yan, TJ Dillashaw and Henry Cejudo. The Jamaican-American’s grappling skills are expected to make the difference tonight, although he will have to be wary of O’Malley’s ability to pull off a one-punch knockout.

In the co-main event, two-time world strawweight champion Zhang Weili defended her title against Amanda Lemos.
