M60 Skip Hire in Greater Manchester has transformed one of their giant industrial containers into the perfect place to cool off.

Owner Allan Tyson said: “Who said containers are just for rubbish? We have taken recycling to a whole new level.”

“It’s about having fun, being innovative and making the most of what you have.”

An impressed pool party host, Amy, added: “It’s been such a gloomy summer and then M60 Skip Hire turned the tide with this great idea.”

“I’ve never seen a container put to such fantastic use.”

The Met Office has forecast glorious summer weather for Sunday.

Temperatures are expected to be warmest in the South East, with temperatures of 24C expected in London and surrounding areas by midday.

Elsewhere, mercury levels are expected to be in the early 20’s, with lows of 16ºC in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Light intermittent showers are expected throughout the day, but forecasters say they will be concentrated in northern and western areas.

This follows the last few days of miserable weather as Storm Betty hit the UK.

The Met Office issued multiple Amber Weather Warnings for rain, wind and thunderstorms, covering much of the UK.

Meanwhile, meteorologists are forecasting the weather to remain “quite changeable” and cool into next week.

A Met Office spokesman said: “Although temperatures will rise this week, a bank holiday heatwave in August is likely unlikely.”

Although the latest Met Office forecast says temperatures of 24C are expected in the south east from late afternoon on Monday.

The rest of the UK will remain in the low 20s.
