As we’ve reported below, a leak strongly suggested that Forza Horizon 5’s first expansion would be a Hot Wheels crossover. Corresponding Eurogamer, the first expansion to Forza Horizon 5 – a Hot Wheels crossover – was leaked on the Steam store listing and was immediately removed. The listing was published on Reddit, where it gained prominence. You can see the image of the crossover below.

This wouldn’t be the first time the two auto racing giants have teamed up. Hot Wheels DLC packs are hurtling onto the scenic tracks of Forza Motorsport 5 and Forza Horizon 3 and 4. What Playground Games has in store with its latest arcade racing simulator is unclear.

Forza Horizon 5 has cracked Game Informer’s top 10 games list for 2021:

“Just to say that Forza Horizon 5 is one of the best mechanically functioning racing games ever made would be a disservice and overlooks what makes the game commendable. Yes, the basic act of driving feels amazing, but it’s the rest of the package that really elevates this fifth entry in the series to that rare air that demands a spot on our top 10 games of the year list.”

Are you looking forward to the alleged crossover?
