There’s a new report about it Avatar: The Last Airbender is heavily delayed on Netflix and there is another report from AvatarNews confirming the number of episodes and the writers of each episode. Overall, it’s been a rocky start for the new Netflix series Avatar: The Last Airbender Series. Since development was still ongoing, the two co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are unfortunately no longer involved in the project. Albert Kim is the new showrunner.

Gordon Cormier, an 11-year-old newcomer, leads the cast as a master of all four elements, while you may recognize his co-stars from other shows. Kiawentiio appeared on Netflix Anne with an EIan Ousley was there 13 reasons why and Dallas Liu was there PIN15.

Michael Goi, Roseanne Liang and Jabbar Raisani are set to direct new episodes Avatar: The Last Airbender at Netflix. Albert Kim is showrunner and executive producer. Dan Lin, Lindsey Liberatore and Michael Goi are also executive producers, according to Netflix.

How many episodes are there in Avatar: The Last Airbender?

It has been confirmed that the first season of the series will consist of eight episodes. We don’t know the episode titles yet, but thanks to AvatarNews we know who wrote the episodes:

Yes, you can now watch all three seasons of the animated series on Netflix. We strongly encourage you to do so before the new series premieres on Netflix later this year. The show is also currently on the list of the best series on Netflix.

The M. Night Shyamalan live-action film is not currently available to stream on Netflix.
