US Treasury Secretary Accidentally Eates Magic Mushrooms In China – Now It’s A Trend

“I was traveling with this large group and the person who arranged our dinner took care of the order,” says Yellen CNN. “There was a delicious mushroom dish. I was not aware that these mushrooms have hallucinogenic properties. I found out later.”

Named Jian shou qing (“to see blue hand”), the dish is made from Lanmaoa asiatica mushrooms, which are known to be Lanmaoa asiatica mushrooms hallucinogen.

CNN spoke to Dr. Peter Mortimer at the Kunming Institute of Botany, who confirmed that “Lanmaoa mushrooms are considered poisonous as they can be hallucinogenic.”

“However, scientists have not yet identified the compounds responsible for the hallucinations,” Mortimer continued. “It remains a bit of a mystery and most of the evidence is anecdotal. I have a friend who accidentally ate them and hallucinated for three days.”

Yellen, however, burst out laughing, insisted to CNN, “I can tell you none of us have been affected by the fungus.”

“I read that if the mushrooms are cooked properly, which they certainly did in this very fine restaurant, they have no effect. But we all enjoyed the mushrooms.” [and] at the restaurant and neither of us felt any ill effects from eating them.

According to social media in China, Yellen’s consumption of the dish has caused many restaurants to sell out the product.
