‘V Rising’ surpasses 500,000 copies sold on Steam

Vampire Survival Game V Rising has sold 500,000 copies on Steam since its release in early access on Tuesday (May 17).

Sharing in a new tweet yesterday (May 20), the developer, Stunlock Studios, announced the recent milestone, saying: “It’s official! 500,000 Vampires out there have entered Vardoran! Thank you all for being with us on this journey! ”

According to statistics on Steam as of today (May 21), the game has a current peak of 101,036 players with more than 88,000 players currently playing (via PC Gamers).

The early access game is currently among the top 10 games on Steam, with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Apex Legends, Lost beer keg, GTA 5and Naraka: Bladepoint stand out first V Rising.

V Rising described as a vampire Valheim, set in the gothic open world of Vardoran. The game allows the player to traverse a variety of environments with their vampire teammates in co-op, or hunt alone as they loot villages, raid bandits, and defeat super beasts. However, all are equipped with an arsenal of weapons and abilities.

Playing as a vampire means players will need to cling to the dark during the day and use the night to their advantage. They will also be required to gather resources and discover ancient techniques for gaining dark powers. Using the resources collected, players will be able to build their castle, craft coffins for servants and friends, and protect their treasures from opponents.

In NME’s Unfinished Business, Rick Lane said, “It looks like Stunlock Studios has won and if the developer can scale up the game as planned (and close the vampire premise right). that) it can even happen Valheimwindows is top survival adventure. ”
