Valorant Esports remains in Europe once again as Riot brings the action to Copenhagen, Denmark for the second and final Valorant Masters event of 2022.

It’s a chance for 12 lucky teams to secure their VCT Circuit Points ahead of September’s big Valorant Champions event. It’s also a chance to reassess which regions are outstanding and who the favorites are ahead of the World Cup.

OpTic Gaming are obvious favorites who will return to try and defend their title, but they will face stiff competition from the world’s best from every corner of the globe.

VCT 2022 Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen: Schedule & Format

VCT 2022 Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen will take place from July 10, 2022 to July 24, 2022. While Riot hasn’t confirmed the exact format, it’s expected to be relatively similar to the first Masters event of the year, taking place in Iceland.

Eight teams were divided into two groups to start at the event. The top four would then advance to the playoffs, where they would be joined by the top four seeded players from around the world. From there to the Grand Final there would then be a double elimination faceoff.

We’ll update this section with the exact schedule and format once confirmed by Riot.

Masters Copenhagen is the last big chance for teams to earn points to qualify for Valorant Champions 2022.

VCT 2022 Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen: All qualified teams

12 teams from all over the world qualify for the VCT 2022 Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen. Europe will send the most representatives with three, while APAC and NA will send two each.

Korea, Japan, Latin America and Brazil will each broadcast one ⁠ – although the latter two have a chance to broadcast an additional one depending on who wins the inter-regional playoffs before the Masters.

Europe’s Guild and Fnatic have already secured their spots after a dominant EMEA Challengers season, and NA’s OpTic Gaming looks poised to take one of their region’s two spots as they attempt to defend their Reykjavik crown.
