Vegan dating app Grazer has ‘f*** vegans’ Veganuary campaign

Dating apps have made it possible for singles to meet hundreds if not thousands of people with a few swipes. One problem with this, however, is that it’s difficult to find a great match in such a wide pool. Niche dating apps are popping up for precisely this reason, with one advertising users “fuck vegans,” literally: grazers.

Grazer is a UK-based dating and friend search app for vegans and vegetarians. According to an interview with Metro, founder Lewis Foster began developing the app in 2016 and was rebranded for World Vegan Day last November. Now Grazer advertises itself as a “meatless matchmaker”.

Grazer isn’t the first plant-based dating app; there’s also Veggly, VegPal, and TofuTogether, just to name a few. But Grazers are making waves in this Veganuary with their “Fuck Vegans” campaign RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Candidate bimini:

It’s not surprising that vegans and vegetarians want a dating app for themselves. Every dater wants a partner with shared values ​​— and green dating, or the desire to find a partner who is as environmentally conscious as you are, has blossomed in recent years.
