The clip above shows sheriff Beau Arlen new – and temporary – meeting Jenny’s old partner. He’s so charming. He’s self-deprecating. And it soon became clear that he had absolutely no idea what it was going to be like when he ran into the nail-hardened Miss Hoyt.

“I’ve heard of Jenny Hoyt,” Beau said in the video at the top of the post. “I can handle her.” Can you blame Cassie for giggling? “You think so,” she warned him.

The season finale marks Aprising’s debut on the ABC drama, but he’ll definitely be back for more: Big sky recently promoted him to being a series regular for Season 3. The upcoming season will also feature the addition of Jamie-Lynn Siegler, who has also been promoted to regular, as well as the addition of the brass legend. Reba McEntire hometown as Sunny Brick, head of the Brick family and its highly successful country dress business (which happens to have a dark secret in its history).
