We’ve been waiting for this one for a long time. The Volkswagen ID.Buzz was presented back in 2017. Now it’s here and ready to go. Except it’s not exactly “here”. It will launch in Europe this year and hit the United States in 2023. That means that while we had the chance to drive the long-awaited electric vehicle, it was the European model rather than the longer van that will arrive in the US.
As far as hyped vehicles go, the ID.Buzz with the Ford Bronco is at the top for people looking for an electric alternative to the automotive nostalgia trend. During our drive we found that the ID.Buzz is as advertised and is a proper van that just so happens to be electrically powered with a desire to recapture times gone by. Just don’t ask about the price, range or the actual length of the upcoming US version. Watch the video above for the full story.
