PAULO DYBALA was crushed by a Roma physio after scoring the opening goal in the Europa League final.

The Argentinian star snagged a through ball from Gianluca Mancini and overcame Yassine Bounou to give his side the lead in Budapest.

The celebrations of the Italian team were full of passion and 29-year-old Dybala was swarmed by his team-mates at the corner flag.

Before they could reach him, however, he was flattened by one of Roma’s physiotherapists in training gear during the celebration.

The physio rugby threw Dybala to the ground and everyone pounced on him.

Dybala was injured before the game after struggling with an adductor strain in his right thigh but managed to get fit enough to start and score the winning goal.

And fans on social media loved the moment between him and the physio.

One tweeted: “Roma’s physio was there to celebrate with Paulo Dybala first 😂.”

A second wrote: “Enjoyed Roma physiotherapy, kit bag and all, first at the celebrations with Dybala.”

A third said: “Giallorossi family!”

Roma ended the half with a lead, but it didn’t last long after the start of the second half.

Mancini was at fault when he accidentally converted a Luis Ocampos cross into his own goal to level the score.

The game ended 1-1, with neither team able to find a winner in extra time as it went to penalties.

And Sevilla clinched another Europa League title with a 4-1 win on penalties.
