One of the “My Mom, Your Dad” dating partners has his eye on Davina McCall rather than the women in the house he’s supposed to be dating.
A first look at tonight’s debut episode shows cheeky dad Roger, 58, trying to poach the show’s host instead.
The sneak peek shared on the show’s Instagram page shows the Derbyshire postman sitting on the sofa with his daughter Jess, 28.
“It’s been 37 years since I’ve been on a date or had to try to impress someone,” admits Roger.
Then he adds: “Is Davina off the table?”
Roger has previously said he was going on the show to “gain some confidence” after being single for the past 18 months following the death of his wife.
The first look clip then shows Davina arriving to greet the dates’ sons and daughters, where she reveals the show’s big twist.
“I have a little confession to make.
“Oh, my stomach just went,” one of the boys replies.
Davina then shows them the surveillance room and explains that they will be watching their parents’ every move – and they will have no idea that their children are spying on them.
“You can watch everything your parents do during their time at the retreat,” explains the host.
“I’m covering my eyes, I don’t want to see anything!” shouts 20-year-old Karli, whose 50-year-old mother Caroline is taking part in the experiment.
Viewers were excited to get a first look at the show, which begins tonight (September 11).
“I can barely wait for it!! Such a good concept,” someone wrote in the comments section.
A second added: “I think I’ll enjoy this. You’re never too old to find love.”
“So excited,” chimed in a third.
