The abandoned school was purchased by Hansen’s parents for $15,000 and converted into a house with a kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and other unique amenities.

Hansen began his Video and explained the purpose of his tour.

He said: “It has been brought to my attention how many people don’t believe this school is actually my home.

“I promise you that I actually live in this school.”

The tour began with Hansen opening the school’s main doors, which still serve as the front door to the property.

The video then showed that the hallways maintained the typical school look but were covered with family photos.

He then revealed how the family converted an old room into a new bathroom.

The bathroom featured modern gray cabinets with a bright orange finish, large mirrors, and towels.

Hansen said, “Well, I don’t know of any school bathroom that looks like that.”

The teenager quickly showed his bedroom, which was directly across from the bathroom.

From the quick shot of the room, a couch, a TV, a gaming chair and a table could be seen.

The house also included a renovated kitchen that looked like a typical family kitchen and was not in the old school style.

This large kitchen included black cabinets, stone countertops, a refrigerator, appliances, and a kitchen island.

A unique feature of the house is that the family left the original school walls exposed and did not plaster them like a normal home.

Hansen said, “It’s not common to see solid brick houses.”

He added further evidence that his house was a former school by showing the former auditorium that the family had retained.

Hansen said, “And if that wasn’t enough proof for you, we have the auditorium and directly attached to it is the kitchen.”

The auditorium retained its mounted basketball hoops and featured a pool table in the center of the room.

In another videoHansen even showed off the home’s huge indoor pool.

However, due to its enormous size, this unique house also has a downside.

He revealed that the family rarely sees each other as each member has their own part of the former school, it is said Newsweek.

Hansen’s TikTok video went viral, receiving over 58 million views and over eight million likes.

Fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the tour.

One TikToker commented on the price of the house.

They said, “I would definitely live in a school if it cost the same as an apartment.”

Many people expressed how afraid they were of living in the old school.
