We’ve travelled to every country in the world – here are the simple mistakes that can ruin your holiday

A PAIR of travel experts who’ve visited every country in the world have uncovered the one simple mistake that could ruin your next vacation.
While everyone is looking forward to their annual vacation, some travelers fail at the border due to passport and visa problems.

Rach and Marty run the blog Very Hungry Nomads, where they have documented their travels around the world over the past two decades.
Last year they achieved their goal of visiting every single country in the world and shared their passport challenges with their readers.
The couple each have a passport from a different country.
Rach holds an Australian passport while Sebova has a Solvak passport.
As the passports were issued by different countries, the different passports have occasionally caused problems for the couple when applying for a visa.
Davey told CNN Travel: “Sometimes it was like, ‘You can get one here, [but I can’t]who threw a wrench in there.”
They also had trouble getting visas – as some countries wouldn’t allow them to get one unaccompanied by a man.
Despite passport problems, the pair achieved their goal of traveling to all 195 countries, and they had some advice for their readers.
Not only do they check entry requirements on official government websites, but they also recommend carrying PDF or printed copies of passports and visas on the road in case you ever fall short.
Holidaymakers have also been warned that throwing away the old passport could lead to problems on the next trip, as old visas and entry and exit details are stored in it.
A major passport change is taking place next week and Britons are being warned to move forward – if they can.
Travelers are reminded they have less than a week before passport renewal fees rise by around nine percent – the increase taking effect on Thursday 2 February.
These are the new visa requirements that Britons traveling to Europe will have to follow this year.
Putting novelty stamps in your passport could cause major problems at the border.
Holiday destinations like Checkpoint Charlie have fake stamps as souvenirs – but a woman was prevented from boarding her flight after her tourist stamp invalidated her passport.
