What is cheat about? (release date, rules, price)

You know how you’re always told that cheating is bad? Well, new Netflix quiz show with a fitting title Cheat, allows participants to do just the opposite! And that’s exactly what is expected of you in this competition.

The series was filmed in front of a studio audience and was developed by Giles Boden, Laura Gibson and Charlie Bennett. The series is executive produced by Jamie Rea and Jonno Richards. Here’s everything you need to know ahead of release!

The quiz show makes its Netflix debut on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Look forward to a total of 12 episodes. All rates are released at once, allowing you to beat the competition.

What are the rules and prices in Netflix’ cheat?

Cheat combines brains, wit, and straight-forward lying as four contestants go head-to-head in each episode, according to the synopsis. Their knowledge is tested over three rounds, and sometimes they have to bluff their way to the top without being eliminated. And that’s because there’s the potential to build a jackpot of over £50,000. All they have to do is avoid getting caught.

Who are the cheat hosts?

British actors and television personalities Danny Dyer and Ellie Taylor will be in charge of MCing. You may know Dyer from his work on coming-of-age drama human trafficas well as BBC soap opera EastEnders. Taylor has acted in a number of shows such as comedy series 8 out of 10 cats and British reality series Make out, marry, avoid?. The talent is also known for her stand-up comedy, of which one of her shows is a part comedians of the world on Netflix.
