He has lived an extraordinary life filled with love, hard work and laughter. He touched many lives… Carry on his legacy. The Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. We ask for privacy and prayers for our family at this time.”

Clay Evans was well known in the music world.
Clay was probably best known for representing TI and Travis Scott, but tributes poured in from around the music world after news of his death.
In a post on Instagram, rapper Lil Duval recounted a time when he told Clay he couldn’t perform after he was hit by a car.
“And he said to me, ‘Oh, you’re coming back on this stage, even if she’s in a wheelchair and I have to push you,’ and that’s exactly what he did,” explained Lil Duvall. “As much as he was a legend and OG, he was still humble enough to help me with his hands and feet when I was down. He even went to the store and bought me underwear when I was in the hospital. He was exaggerating. ”

Other tributes have come from the likes of Kevin Hart, Pharrell and Snoop Dogg, which speaks to the enormous impact Clay has had on the hip-hop world in particular. At just 54, his death likely came as a shock to many who knew him. As revealed in Lil Duvall’s story, just last year he helped some of his cast members when they were dealing with their own injuries.
A life celebration is planned for April 1 at 1:00 p.m. at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, it said The Constitution of the Atlanta Journal. The visit will begin an hour before the church service, the Stocks funeral home said. Judging from the outpouring of love after his death, it seems clear that Clay had a tremendous impact on the artists he worked with and the people he knew personally. He left a remarkable legacy.
