She also spoke about how Andrea had reached out to her with her concerns about Port’s recent weight loss, but only after Port went public in late July. According to the port, Andrea reached out to her by texting, “I was worried about you.”
Port had endured comments from fans and followers for a while, but only began to take them seriously when her husband made her do it Tim Rosenman had shared his own concerns.
Last month, Port said on her podcast that she feels like her eating habits are “more based on laziness” and “choosiness and I’m just hungry and I don’t care,” but admitted it’s not “healthy.”

“However, I think it’s some kind of eating disorder,” she shared. “It’s not OK. That is not healthy. I’m obviously not giving my body the nutrients it needs.”
It turns out there’s more truth to this than she realized. And it turns out Port doesn’t have an eating disorder, at least according to the specialist she saw. Instead, she suffers from depression, which affects her eating habits.
Port explained that her therapist told her she was suffering from what’s known as “neurovegetative depression,” which Port himself found impacted her energy and motivation. Port said she found the visit “reaffirming” and allowed her to trust in herself again.

“I felt like I could trust myself like I could trust my gut like I wasn’t crazy because I was really scared that I’m in denial of how I see myself or what’s really going on because I pride myself on being a very socially conscious person,” Port said.
“So it was hard for me because I was like, ‘Shit, don’t I get it?’ But I feel that way,” she continued. “I really feel like I am, and I feel like I’m taking the steps to take care of myself and the hardest part for me is going to be consistency.”
She also revealed that she is currently taking antidepressants, which “work great.” But she sees no long-term solution in this. The bottom line is that she takes her health seriously, both physically and mentally.
