The Fatui Harbingers are the main antagonist group in Genshin Impact, with the Traveler attempting to put an end to the Snezhnayan Organization’s escapades of claiming all seven Gnoses around Teyvat. But who are they? Here are the identities of Genshin Impact’s 12 Fatui Harbingers that have now been revealed.
Genshin Impact’s main story revolves around the traveler exploring Teyvat to try to find his sibling. However, a key antagonist in their path are the powerful Fatui Harbingers, who seek to bring Teyvat under their sole rule.
While we only knew scant details about the group and its members, their lore is unraveling as Genshin Impact prepares for its expansion into Sumeru with version 3.0. Now we all know their identities and backstories, and things are heating up in the story.
All of Genshin Impact’s Fatui Harbingers are explained here. Oh, and in case it wasn’t clear, there are story spoilers ahead.
Genshin Impact’s Fatui Harbingers explained
Arlecchino, codenamed Knave, runs an orphanage called House of the Hearth while also being part of the Fatui Harbingers. The orphanage is an important part of the Fatui mission, as its residents are raised to serve the nation in distant lands.
She is quite a controversial character in The Fatui Harbingers, although — Tartaglia (Childe) is very adamant in his dislike of her.
Columbina the Damselette is a senior member of the Fatui Harbingers – the third to be exact. Marked by her blindfold, she is far more dangerous than she appears, as even Childe, despite his love of fighting, is unwilling to fight her.
However, other details about her are not known at this time.
Il Capitano, the Captain, isn’t quite the leader of the Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact. This title was awarded to Pierro. However, he looks like one of the most menacing members, fully clad in armor from head to toe and with a hidden face in his reveal.
Very little is known about Il Capitano apart from his superior fighting skills.
Il Dottore — the doctor, in case you need to brush up on your Italian — is one of Fatui Harbinger’s diplomats in Mondstadt. After going to the Sumeru Akademiya along with some of the other Harbingers, he has used his magical powers to create clones of himself capable of various things.
Everything for Il Dottore is a scientific experiment that tries to push the limits of humanity with its research. He is a prominent character in the Genshin Impact manga series and plays a key role in Diluc’s story.
Once part of the Fatui Harbingers, the Fair Lady La Signora was immortalized in Genshin Impact as one of the boss fights players can fight in Inazuma. Once a normal woman from Mondstadt, she ended up siding with the Fatui and became the Crimson Witch of Flame.
However, she was killed after a duel with the Traveler in Inazuma, with Raiden Shogun executing the Herald on the spot. She is the only dead character on this list, while the other 11 Fatui Harbingers are still alive.
Pantalone, ranked ninth in the Fatui Harbingers and also known as the Regrator, is the moneyman behind the organization. Born into poverty and risen to become a wealthy tycoon, he now handles much of Snezhnaya’s economic policy.
His influence is well known in Teyvat, although he hasn’t appeared in Genshin Impact yet. Travelers hear of Pantalone’s existence in Mondstadt when inquiring about the Goth Grand Hotel, while Yelan also clashed with Fatui Harbinger’s member.
Pierro the Fool is the senior member of the Fatui Harbingers and their founder. After a dispute in his homeland ruined it, Pierro hunted down the cryo-archon Tsaritsa to aid her in her attempt to bring down Teyvat.
Pierro is the puppeteer behind the Harbingers, working against the other six nations of the Traveler and Teyvat to try and take control of the world for Snezhnaya.
Old Pulcinella, known as the Rooster, is rank five of the Fatui Harbingers. He is the reason Tartaglia was accepted into the prestigious Snezhnayan organization, although other details about him are scarce.
Sandrone, codenamed Marionette, lives up to her puppet title by being accompanied by a mega-creature with a runeguard appearance.
Her rank within the Fatui Harbingers is unknown, but she is known for her research into automatons – hence the rather tame robot at her side.
Scaramouche, also known as Balladeer, is one of the most famous Fatui Harbinger. Players will have multiple encounters with the puppet created by Egg, the leader of Inazuma, during their journey in Genshin Impact.
Basically every Fatui encounter in Genshin Impact is linked to Scaramouche, although he has disappeared since the death of Signora where he also claimed Ei’s Electro Gnosis. He is also expected to be the second Fatui Harbinger to be made playable in the game, with many leaks to his existence.
Tartaglia, aka Childe, is the leading Fatui Harbinger in Genshin Impact history despite being the lowest of the 12 (now 11). He’s quite ambitious and always up for a fight – and you can even take on him in the Liyue boss fight. He is also currently the only playable Fatui Harbinger.
He’s got a deceptive personality with a bubbly outside, but deep down, who knows what he’s up to.
