Who are Sri and Gopi Hinduja?
Sri Hinduja, also known as Srichand Parmanand Hinduja, was the eldest brother of the Hinduja family.
He was born on November 28, 1935 in Karachi, Pakistan.
Hindu Sri died in London on May 17, 2023 at the age of 87.
He reportedly died of complications from Lewy body dementia.
His children Shanu and Vinoo issued a statement that said: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father SP Hinduja.”
“SP was a loving husband to the beloved late Madhu, father to Shanu, Vinoo and the esteemed late Dharam and grandfather to Karam and Lavanya.
“SP was a visionary titan of industry and business, humanitarian and philanthropic.”
Sri was married to Madhu and they had two daughters, Shanu and Vinoo.
The couple also had a son together, Dharam, who died in 1992.
Madhu died in January 2023 at the age of 82.
His brother Gopi Hinduja, also known as Gopichand, was born in India on February 29, 1940.
Gopi graduated from Jai Hind College in Bombay in 1959.
He is married to Sunita and they have two sons and one daughter – Sanjay, Dheeraj and Rita.
