Who could be KSI’s next fight after Joe Fournier and will he box Jake Paul?

YouTube star KSI defeated Joe Fournier with a controversial knockout on Saturday, ending the former professional boxer with an elbow accident.

29-year-old KSI landed the bigger punches in the first round of the exhibition fight at London’s Wembley Arena, and in Round 2 he beat 40-year-old Fournier with a massive overhand right. This was followed by an attempted right hook with KSI (real). (Name Olajide Olatunji) instead makes contact with his elbow. The punch dropped Fournier to the canvas and left him staring at the ceiling, unable to beat the referee’s count.

In a post-fight interview, KSI denied he had elbowed his compatriot before calling Tommy Fury into the ring for a faceoff that ended with the two splitting.

KSI’s controversial win was his fourth straight KO win in as many exhibition bouts. The YouTube star, who found fame as a gamer but also as a rapper, has fought Logan Paul twice before, drawing with his fellow YouTuber in an amateur match and defeating him on points in a professional rematch. Meanwhile, Fury – half-brother of world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury – is best known for his time as a participant in love island, but he is also undefeated as a professional boxer. The 24-year-old outsmarted Logan Paul’s brother Jake in February.

No fight is planned between KSI and Fury and for some time now KSI has been exchanging words with Jake Paul hoping to set up a fight.

Jake Paul won 6-1 as a pro after stopping KSI’s brother Deji in his amateur debut in 2018. In the last game, in February, 26-year-old Paul suffered his first loss, losing on points to Fury.

The YouTube star will now box former UFC fighter Nate Diaz in August.
