meg 2: The ditch starring Jason Statham is out now, and after seeing the sequel, you’ll probably want to see more Statham movies. Luckily, Netflix carries several of his films, including the action thriller secure.
secure is a 2012 film written and directed by Boaz Yakin. Yakin is best known for co-writing the screenplays for the action films The beginner, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time And The harder they fall.
The action film hit theaters in April 2012 and ultimately grossed $40.6 million worldwide. While it got mixed reviews from critics, we still recommend checking it out for yourself if you haven’t seen it yet. Sometimes reviews aren’t always accurate. Who knows, you might end up liking it.
The story follows an unfortunate ex-cage fighter who, after rescuing a young math expert, must protect her from the Russian mafia, triad gangs and corrupt NYPD officers who are after them. But who stars in the action film besides Statham? Find out below.

Jason Statham portrays the film’s protagonist, Luke Wright. Luke is a former NYC cop and cage fighter who gets caught up in a deadly, high-risk war when he rescues a kidnapped 12-year-old girl. Statham is known for his action films. However, he is best known for his role as Frank Martin in three of those films vans movies. You might also recognize him from his roles in the movies The Italian job, crank, bank job, spy, the Expendables franchise and the Fast & Furious Franchise.
Catherine Chan plays the role of Mei, the gifted 12-year-old girl who rescues Luke. In addition to starring in secureChan appeared in two episodes of the popular dark comedy series weed as a character named China.
