Nimona follows an aspiring knight named Ballister Boldheart who, after being framed for a crime he didn’t commit, reluctantly teams with a teenage shapeshifter to prove his innocence. But Ballister quickly finds that teaming up with the person he is tasked with destroying isn’t easy.
The film was also directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane from a screenplay by Robert L. Baird and Lloyd Taylor. It is also based on the graphic novel of the same name by ND Stevenson.

Chloë plays the title character in the film. Nimona is a mischievous and impulsive teenager who has the ability to transform into anything she wants. She has a penchant for chaos and gets the idea of being Ballister’s sidekick. At first she thinks he is a villain and has similar interests.
