Who is Swarmz?
Brandon Scott, better known as Swarmz, is a British rapper, singer, boxer and former semi-professional football player.
He was born on September 11, 1996 in Greenwich, London and is of Jamaican and Bajanic descent.
During his sporting career, Swarmz played at youth level for Fulham, Charlton Athletic and Southend United.
He later played for Southend but was thereafter relegated to the non-League before giving up football in 2018 to focus solely on music.
He has told it before Amarudontv: “I could have gone far in football, but that was because of my attitude. I was just being silly, I had a lot of potential.”
Although Swarmz also made music alongside playing soccer, it wasn’t until he released the viral hit Lyca that his big break came.
Swarmz has also returned to the world of sports – this time he’s swapping the pitch for the ring.
On August 27, 2022, Swarmz began his boxing career by beating YouTuber KSI at the O2 Arena in London.
When did KSI and Swarmz fight?
The Swarmz and KSI fight in the X-Series took place in August 2022.
This was the rapper’s first professional boxing match, which he lost by KO in the second round.
Originally, KSI was supposed to fight Alex Wassabi to avenge his brother Deji’s defeat.
However, Wassabi suffered a concussion during training and had to retire a month before the big day.
KSI was then offered a fight by Jake Paul, but it was turned down.
Since Swarmz first stepped into the ring, he has returned twice more to fight British YouTuber Ryan Taylor and KSI’s younger brother Deji Olatunji.
Swarmz was victorious in his match against Taylor but lost to Olatunji by unanimous decision.
The rapper will get back in the ring on July 22, 2023 when Misfits Boxing returns with a new four-person fight that will be the main event in Nashville.
NichLMAO, Swarmz, B Dave and Ryan Johnston will be the fighters involved in the new concept called Survivor Tag.
How did Swarmz become famous?
Swarmz rose to fame by releasing the song “Lyca” in 2018.
He was then signed to Virgin Records and worked with artists such as Bugzy Malone, Krept and Konan, and N-Dubz’s Dappy.
Before his big break, Swarmz released his first video “Money” in 2017 before releasing another single called “Murda” in early 2018.
Swarmz was also featured alongside Tion Wayne on the KSI single “Houdini” which reached number six in the UK Singles Chart.

It is not publicly known if Swarmz is in a relationship or has children.
