Who is starring in the South African Netflix series?
Have you heard? There is a new South African thriller series titled Deadly Seduction continue streaming Netflix, and a lot of people are watching it. If you’ve already added this show to your watchlist and are looking forward to watching it anytime soon, we have to tell you who all of the cast are.
Deadly Seduction is a new Netflix original series created by Steven Pillemer. Pillemer is best known as a co-creator of the South African drama series The brave onesstreaming on Netflix.
It is based on the popular Mexican Netflix series Dark Desire It follows a married woman who spends a weekend away with her best friend, only to end up having a passionate affair with a younger man that leads to tragedy and betrayal in those close to her.
Additionally, the show will take place in Cape Town, South Africa. It was also filmed in the beautiful city. So who plays the protagonist? What about the other characters? Find out below.
Cast of “Fatal Seduction”.
Kgomotso Christopher plays Nandi Mahlati, a married professor who becomes involved in an illicit affair with a younger man while on a luxury vacation with her best friend. She is best known for her previous role as Katlego Sibeko on the South African soap opera Isidingo. She also played the role of Yvonne in another South African soap opera titled Scandal!
Thapelo Mokoena plays Leonard Mahlati, Nandi’s husband who she suspects is cheating on her with his new assistant. You may have seen Mokoena on the South African TV shows pulse And blood and water.
Prince Grootboom plays the role of Jacob Tau, a young man with whom Nandi has a one night stand while on vacation. You might recognize Grootboom from his earlier role in the South African historical play 1802: Love defies time.
Lunathi Mampofu plays Brenda Grootboom, Nandi’s best friend who dies on her weekend getaway. She is best known for her role as Emma in the South African telenovela The river.

How many episodes does Fatal Seduction have on Netflix?
In total there are 14 episodes in the first season of the thriller series. However, only seven episodes have been released so far. Unfortunately we don’t have a release date for when the next episodes will be released, but we hope to see them in late 2023. We’ll be sure to announce the release date as soon as it’s announced.
Fatal Seduction Parent’s Guide and Age Rating
The thriller series has a TV-MA rating, meaning it is only intended for mature, adult audiences. Given what the show is about, a TV-MA rating makes sense. She received this rating for strong language, sex, smoking, substances and violence. Overall we would not recommend watching this show with young children.
