Mae Mueller will represent the UK at this year’s event euro vision song contest
The 25-year-old singer was announced as a UK entry on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show back in March, making Muller the first female actress to represent the UK in five years.
Mueller will appear Liverpool after the surprise success of Sam Ryder, who was less than convincing after years of British appearances euro vision Results, ranks second behind Ukraine in 2022.
With the UK being one of the Big Five countries, Muller is not required to appear in any of this week’s semi-finals.
Instead, she will advance straight to the finals on Saturday (May 13), where she will compete as one of 26 acts.

Mae Muller is a 25-year-old pop singer from Kentish Town, London. She was born on August 26, 1997.
Muller first rose to prominence after releasing her track Better Days in 2021. The song has garnered almost 400 million streams.
The singer released her debut album Chapter 1 in April 2019 before supporting Little Mix on their LM5: The Tour that same year.
She used to work in pubs and fashion store American Apparel before she was found by her manager after he uploaded some demos to Soundcloud.
Announcing the news of her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest on her Instagram page, Muller said: “Guys!!! I can’t believe I’m even saying this… but I’m the UK entrant to EUROVISION 2023 this year with my track ‘I Wrote A Song’!!!
“This was the hardest secret to keep on the WORLD (literally told it a million times lol scream) but the news is finally out!!!
“The song is out right now, so pleased it’s finally yours and what an honor to host on behalf of Ukraine, it’s going to be very special [heart emoji] @eurovision 2023 GO GO! LIVERPOOL See you very soon,” she added.
