Who plays the leading role in the romance film?
If you are a fan of the romance genre, you will be delighted with the romantic drama film The optional was added to Netflix. If you’re excited to see this teardrop, we have to tell you who stars in it.
The optional is a 2016 film directed by Ross Katz and based on a screenplay by Bryan Sipe. Like many other films, it is an adaptation of another work. It is based on the 2007 book of the same name by bestselling author Nicholas Sparks.
It tells the love story between a veterinarian and a medical student who meet as neighbors in a small coastal town and end up in a relationship that turns their well-planned life upside down.

The Choice cast
Tony nominee Benjamin Walker plays Travis Shaw, a charming veterinarian who doesn’t want to get into a serious relationship because he thinks it would spoil his style. You might recognize Walker from his other roles in the films flags of our fathers, In the heart of the sea, The Ice Road And The king’s daughter. He also had roles in television shows jessica jones, The subway And The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
Terese Palmer plays Gabby Holland, a high-spirited medical student who wants to settle down with her longtime boyfriend. She moves in alongside the womanizer Travis and eventually begins a love affair with him.
You may have seen Palmer in the movies Good night stories, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, I’m number four, Warm bodies, Lights out, Hacksaw Ridge And Berlin syndrome. She also played the lead role of Diana Bishop in the British fantasy series A discovery of the witches.
