The model died of an accidental drug overdose at a Hollywood, Florida hotel in 2007.

It was believed that her death was a result of “combined drug intoxication”.

“She was my best friend, my lover, my daughter’s mother. She was everything to me, literally everything. My whole world,” said long-time companion Daniel K. Stern PEOPLE.

According to Fox News, Stern told the court, “She really talked about death from the moment I met her.

“Anna always thought she would die young.

“She thought she would be like Marilyn Monroe, she thought she would die at the age of 36 or 37.”

Anna Nicole Smith had two children – Daniel Wayne Smith and Dannielynn Birkhead.

Their eldest child, Daniel, died of an accidental drug overdose on September 10, 2006 at the age of 20.

Stern said Anna never recovered from the death of her son.

“Anna saw herself as both a mother and a father to Daniel,” he told People after her death.

“Ever since I met her, everything has been for Daniel.

“I would say that physically she died last week, but in many ways, emotionally, she died when Daniel died.”
