Will the sports comedy 80 for Brady stream on Netflix?

The new movie 80 for Brady may be named after American football star Tom Brady, but he’s not the one at the center of the story. Actually, that would be his loyal fan club!
80 for Brady It stars Lily Tomlin as Lou, Jane Fonda as Trish, Rita Moreno as Maura and Sally Field as Betty, who play four 80-year-old best friends. Tired of the same routine, the big Tom Brady fans decide to take a chance. You’ll see him at Super Bowl LI 2017! In this impromptu trip with no plan or even tickets, the group of older besties will do whatever it takes to get in the game.
The film is based on an actual fan club, Over 80 for Brady, although that group didn’t actually try to go to the Super Bowl, reports CBS News Sunday Morning. They were just a group of friends who never missed a Sunday game at home. But it was the grandson of one of five in the group who worked in Hollywood who pitched the idea. And now we are here!
If the movie sounds like a lot of fun to you, you might be wondering if it’s streaming on Netflix. Below we have the answer for you!
Is 80 for Brady on Netflix?
Unfortunately for those who are excited about the sporting film, we bring some bad news. 80 for Brady does not stream on Netflix. And while it’s currently making its theatrical debut in February, it’s highly unlikely to make it to the streaming service at some point.
The film is being produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures. What does that mean? This means the film is not a Netflix Original and will most likely stream exclusively on the production company’s own streamer, Paramount+.
As of its February release, the film’s owner has yet to share a streaming release date. The streamer offers two plans: $4.99/month with no ads or $9.99 with no ads.
80 for Brady opens in cinemas on Friday February 3rd.
