Will there be a third season on Netflix?
Now that Welcome to Eden Season 2 continues Netflix, people don’t waste time watching the new episodes. In fact, many people have played through the entire second season by now. Is Welcome to Eden Season 3 Coming to Netflix?
7/7/23 UPDATE: Unfortunately there will be no third season of the thriller series. On July 7, the Spanish news agency published Fotogramas.es, announced the bad news. The cancellation is believed to be due to the second season not doing well on Netflix.
As of April 21, Netflix has yet to announce its future plans for the thriller series. In other words, Welcome to Eden was not renewed for a third season. However, nobody should worry at the moment since the second season has only just been released.
Normally, Netflix doesn’t decide the fate of a series immediately after the release of a season. Instead, the streaming giant will likely wait and see how many people watch Season 2 on the platform in its first month before announcing whether it plans to renew or cancel. Once Netflix has totaled the first month’s viewing hours, it will most likely make its decision from there.
However, the series could be renewed for a third season quite early, depending on how the second season performs in the first few weeks. Welcome to Eden Season 1 premiered on May 6, 2022, and 19 days later, on May 25, the series was renewed for a second season are at the top of Netflix’s global top 10 list For non-English language television, Netflix gave the green light for a second season in the first three weeks on the platform.
If Welcome to Eden With season 2 achieving the same level of success, it could be that the series will be renewed for a third season sometime in early May. This would be an early renewal as season two would have been released just a few weeks earlier.
