Fans of cooking competition shows may like Chopped, pressure cookerAnd iron cook I don’t want to miss the Netflix series Five Star Chef. This high-risk series follows a group of gourmet chefs as they compete to take over the Palm Courts restaurant at London’s Langham Hotel.

In light of the stakes, experts were hired to judge the seven contestants who would compete on the show, including home chef Michel Roux Jr., pastry expert Ravneet Gill and acclaimed restaurateur Mike Reid.

Six episodes of the series are currently streaming on Netflix. If you live in the UK you may have seen the show before it appeared on the streamer as it first aired on Channel 4 in June 2023. The finale aired the same day the series made its Netflix debut.

Now we know who won the first season of Five Star ChefSome viewers are curious if Netflix and Channel 4 intend to do another season. Here’s everything we know about the opportunity Five Star Chef Season 2 takes place.

Five Star Chef Season 2: Will there be another season on Netflix?

Five Star Chef renewal status: Undetermined

With the first season of the cooking show only coming out on July 14, 2023, it’s too early for us to know what Netflix has planned for the future. However, there is a good chance that this is the case Five Star Chef Season 2 will happen because producing unscripted content is much cheaper than producing scripted content. Given the ongoing WGA and SAG strikes, the series could potentially go ahead, especially as it’s a British production.

The only caveat is that something would have to change in Season 2 as I doubt the creators will get people to compete to take over the Season 1 winner’s new restaurant! Given the premise of the show, finding a unique setting or switching to a new strategy shouldn’t be too difficult.
