Will there be another season on Netflix?

A new reality series to watch on Netflix is down for love It’s a heartfelt feel-good series that chronicles the romantic journeys of several people with Down Syndrome, all in search of love. The first season consists of five episodes, so it’s an easy opportunity to binge watch the series. And when you finish the fifth episode, you’ll be looking for more. So there will be one down for love Season 2? We’ve shared everything we know about a possible second season below.

down for love may be new to Netflix, but it actually aired in New Zealand on TVNZ from May to June 2022. Set in New Zealand, the Netflix original follows a group of people with Down Syndrome as they embark on a heartwarming quest to find the love of their life.

The first season cast consists of several single hopefuls including Libby Hunsdale, Lily Harper, John Halliday, Leisel Shepherd, Carlos Biggemann and Josh Bradley.

Is Down for Love Season 2 happening?

Yes! A second season is currently in the works. Back in October 2022, the show’s production team (Attitude Productions) announced via a Instagram post that they cast for a down for love Season 2. It appears the production company was still casting people for Season 2 as of January 2023 because they re-shared the casting call information on their website Instagram page around this time.

It is not known if the cameras have started rolling yet down for love Season 2 from August 2023, but we assume production has already started. We also don’t know how the second season will appear. There’s a good chance it will air on TVNZ first before making it to Netflix. That’s what happened with the first season. Hopefully we can see Season 2 on Netflix sometime in 2024. However, we just have to wait and see.

We can’t wait to meet some new singles looking for love down for love Season 2. We’re also keeping our fingers crossed for an update on the love lives of the cast of Season 1 in the upcoming Season 2.
