Woman, 42, found dead at Scots hospital as cops launch probe

Police were called to a Scottish hospital today where a woman was found dead.

Police were called to Wishaw University Hospital following reports of concerns about one person.

Rescue workers were dispatched to the North Lanarkshire hospital in the early afternoon

A 42-year-old woman was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the police, there are no suspicious circumstances related to the tragedy.

A report is also sent to the public prosecutor’s office.

A Scottish Police spokesman said: “Following a report of concern for the individual, officers went to Wishaw General Hospital on Monday afternoon 21 August.

“A 42-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be filed with the prosecutor.”
