Woman begs for help over armrest battle with manspreading passengers on flight

A passenger beat two men sitting on either side of her on an airplane after they both took their assigned seat.
The middle seat is generally considered to be the worst seat on an airplane because there is no aisle to stretch in and no window to look out.
One person who was in such a predicament was the Tiktokerin Tricia (@triciasfu), both of whose armrests were monopolized by the two people she was sitting next to.
In a video She shared online that the two men took up all of the arm space, forcing her to squeeze in between the two.
She captioned the video: “If you’re sitting in the middle seat on an airplane, shouldn’t you have at least one armrest by default?”
“Someone is sending help.”
The footage has been viewed more than 44,000 times, and many people agreed the two men were wrong.
One said: “I was taught that if you sit in the middle you get both armrests as the window seat has the window and the other has more room.”
Another said: “You get BOTH! I’m pretty sure it’s the law. The window can tilt to the view and the aisle can pee whenever they want.”
A third added: “No, you should get both by default because you’re the one suffering in the middle.”
Passengers jostling for space is nothing new, and some members of the cabin crew have joined the altercation to try to give passengers guidance.
Speak with insiderone revealed who gets the armrests in the middle of the row of seats.
She said: “If I could give a PSA regarding airline etiquette, I wish more passengers knew that armrests on the middle seat are for the middle seat passenger – for both.”
Other flight attendants also supported her and said that the middle passenger, in this case Tricia, should get both center armrests.
Cabin crew member Boris Millan explained that Confessions on the Fly Podcast: “For some reason they did a lot of research on this in the UK – if you’re in the middle seat you have…”
At this point, co-host LJ interjected, “You get both armrests!”
Boris agreed, adding: “It’s common sense folks. It’s common sense.”
Meanwhile, this flight attendant revealed the magic spell that keeps people in front of you from reclining their seats.
And one passenger explained that she always wins seat battles on flights.
