Woman dead, man injured after shooting in East Falls

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — After a shooting in East Falls, a woman is dead and a man is fighting for his life.

Police say the shooting took place just after midnight Saturday morning near Berkeley Drive and McMichael Street.

While police were investigating the shooting, two gunshot victims turned up at Temple University Hospital in a private vehicle.

A 42-year-old woman sadly died in hospital and a 52-year-old man is in critical condition.

Her vehicle was riddled with bullet holes.

The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.

No arrests were made.
