Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder after a woman died in an attack in broad daylight.

Police and emergency services rushed to the scene just after 8am yesterday after reports that a woman had been attacked on Bradwell Road in Milton Keynes.

Officers came by and found a woman who was unconscious before they began first aid.

She was taken to the hospital but sadly died there.

Police have confirmed that a 77-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

Lead Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Dejan Avramovic, of Thames Valley Police’s Serious Crime Unit, said: “Tragically, a woman died following an incident yesterday morning.

“There will be scene surveillance on site and if you have any concerns you can raise them with one of our officers on site.

“I am aware that incidents like this will cause concern in the local community, but I would like to reassure the public that we are confident that this incident will be contained, there is no major risk to the local community and we are not following.” look for other people who are connected with it.” with the incident.
