Woman left stunned after boarding Ibiza flight – and is the only passenger onboard

A WOMAN flying back from Ibiza got the plane for herself – as the only passenger.

Hannah Maden-Adams, 38, was treated like a VIP on the £188 flight – after showing up alone.

Hannah, who works as a communications agency founder, had been enjoying a birthday holiday in Ibiza with friends and booked a comfortable flight home from the island to Jersey for Thursday 6th July.

However, when she arrived at check-in, staff insisted there were no flights from Ibiza to Jersey and some staff said they had never heard of this place.

She eventually managed to check in, but once she got to the gate, she began wondering where the other passengers were, according to Hannah.

Only when the gate opened did an employee tell her that she was the only passenger.

A private car picked her up at the gate and drove her to the aircraft, where she was greeted by the cabin crew, who were also amazed by the unique private jet experience.

Hannah, from Jersey, said: “It sounds cheesy because I’m just a normal person, but being taken to the plane in a car and then being the only person to board it felt really exciting.”

“It was very surreal, but it was also just plain fun – how often does that happen.”

“Usually flights are completely overcrowded, there are children, families, groups of people all talking and laughing.

“Instead, they said: Sit where you want and leave your luggage where you want.”

“I chose a window seat — I chose to sit as far forward as I like to see the view.”

They informed her that the first flight from Jersey to Ibiza left that morning and they hadn’t expected anyone to fly back in the afternoon.

And when she landed in Jersey, she was escorted through the arrivals hall, which had been opened specially for her – but she said she still had to wait for her bags to arrive at baggage claim.

“I didn’t know how crowded it would be but I didn’t expect to be just one – I didn’t think they would fly if there was only one passenger but they had to catch a plane back to Jersey, so the flight.” “I was going anyway,” Hannah said.

“Up until the very last moment at the gate, before boarding the plane, I had no idea I was the only person.

“The staff and pilot said they had never flown just one passenger on any of their planes before.

“Once we were in the air the pilots were so nice, I thought it was really a success Pretty Personal touch, the pilots showed different locations and recommended travel destinations public holidays.

“It was really fun, the stewardesses chatted all the time, it was great to meet them and learn about their lives.”

“But they were still very professional, they did all the flight safety instructions and all the announcements.”

Here are some other passengers who realized they were the only people on board their flight.
