World’s most expensive new car is £25M Rolls-Royce Droptail convertible that comes with champagne chest

The world’s most expensive new car is a £25million Rolls-Royce droptail convertible decked out in a champagne crate.
After five years of development, the car giant has just released its exclusive engine.
Made for a mystery buyer, the one-of-a-kind beast has two doors and just two seats – specially designed for the couple who have spent millions on it.
The couple, described as “super rich”, hail from an art-loving champagne and fashion dynasty in France.
Because of their love for the bubbly beverage, they incorporated a champagne case and cooler into their design for carrying their bottles and glasses.
Thanks to the electrochromatic glass roof section, the roof can remain darker or lighter at the touch of a button.
The name “La Rose Noire” is inspired by the velvety Black Baccara Rose, also native to France, in a subtle nod to its roots.
The car’s red and black exterior matches the flower’s petals and is said to symbolize romance, according to Rolls-Royce.
Inside, the complex woodwork consists of 1,603 individual, intricate and handcrafted triangular pieces that represent the rose petals.
Rolls-Royce describes it as “a romantic tribute to the couple who created it”.
Also on the dashboard is a detachable luxury watch from luxury Swiss brand Audemars Piguet.
Completing the sleek and elegant vehicle is the Rolls-Royce badge with the owner’s signature on the back.
It was specifically kept away until she could make a name for herself.
The engine was introduced to the customer and her family Saturday night during Monterey Car Week at a private party near Pebble Beach, California.
According to the manufacturer, this is one of four Droptails that will be produced in the coming years.
It is estimated that it can accelerate to 100 km/h in just five seconds.
Top speed is 155 miles per hour.
Quite long for an engine: 5.3 meters long, 2 meters wide and 1.5 meters high.
