Wrestling legend warns about the consequences of CM Punk wearing pro-abortion shirt

According to Dutch Mantell, it may not be a good idea for CM Punk to blatantly express his pro-abortion stance.

In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Punk bursts into the arena wearing a shirt that proudly declares ‘Abortion right is a human right!’. While the outspoken superstar was in the comments box during a spectacular showdown between Hangman Page and Konosuke Takeshita, it was Punk’s shirt that caught the lion’s eye.

This has sparked a debate online as netizens fiercely argue about the concept.

In a recent episode of Sportskeeda Smack TalkDutch Mantell shared about the incident. According to him, it’s been a slippery slope for CM Punk, especially in the pro wrestling industry.

“You have to look at mixing politics with that because, maybe not this one but it could be counterproductive for you (…) I’m saying not counterproductive for him, yes. can backfire… (pauses) Probably not, because wrestling fans are, anyway, different.” (43:25 -43:51)

A former WWE star posted CM Punk’s shirt on social media

Dutch Mantell’s warning seems to have been proven true, as Jaxson Ryker seems to have a problem with Punk’s display.

While many seem to agree with the importance of choice regarding abortion, some also disagree with the message on Punk’s shirt. One of these dissidents revealed himself to be Jaxson Ryker, a former WWE star.

Ryker recently took to Twitter to express his views on the incident, though he did not name CM Punk. He went on to say that the baby also has a “human right”, which is taken away in the case of an abortion.

“How to put on the shirt” Abortion rights are human rights “on Human Rights live broadcast? Abortion is taking away the right of that living child to breathe. Really sad. That baby has rights. . It’s a human being. Jesus has a change of heart. Jesus we need you,” Jaxson Ryker tweeted.

The comments section on Ryker’s tweet has so far been filled with abortion advocates. Although Punk did not join him on social media regarding this tweet, only time will tell if the incident will develop into a full-blown controversy.
