Yellowjacket’s Season 2 solves the mystery of Jackie’s notebook

With Smashing Pumpkins’ “Drown” playing in the background, we see a sight that probably no one expected in the flashbacks: a clearly alive Jackie playing a game of MASH with Shauna. She gives her amazingly accurate insight into her former best friend’s future, saying that she will live in a house married to school quarterback Jeff (Jack DePew and Warren Kole). Shauna doesn’t believe it at first, so she takes the notebook from Jackie’s hands, only to reveal that Jackie is a hallucination. It has been two months since she froze to death outside of the hut where the survivors live, and Shauna has kept her frozen body in the hut’s hut to converse with her. The rest of the team finds this odd, but at least she has a supporter in Coach Ben (Steven Krueger) who defends her, saying these “meetings” bring her solace in an otherwise dire situation.

That doesn’t make it any less weird though, especially when Hallucination Jackie starts questioning Shauna about what happened between her and Jeff and ended up getting her pregnant. When her inner monologue becomes too much, Shauna pushes Jackie’s body against the cabin wall, the force of the corpse ripping off one of the ears. Guess what Shauna is going to do with that ear.
