Yolanda Hadid has returned to Instagram after a nine-month hiatus.

Yolanda Hadid is returning to Instagram after a nine-month absence following the death of her mother, bouts of depression and a recurrence of Lyme disease

For her part, Yolanda initially decided to take some time off from social media following the death of her mother, Ans van den Herik. This was done on the basis that the star needed some time to re-evaluate her future life. And with that, she opened up about the health issues that surfaced after her mother’s death.

In a post to her fans Instagram, Yolanda shared a picture of herself sitting near the beach. She appears to be meditating as she has her eyes closed. She has a huge smile on her face and couldn’t be happier.

The post was commented on as follows: “After losing my mother I really struggled with depression followed by a Lyme disease relapse…. the emotional stress and grief has greatly impacted my immune system… Time has slowed down and feels much calmer.

“I look forward to being back and seeing all you’ve done.” But that wasn’t the only problem for Yolanda. She explained how she suffered from a phone addiction. This resulted in her being taken away from the realities of life as she became heavily preoccupied with what was going on in the virtual world.

That’s understandable when she was trying to process her mother’s death in a way that allowed her to do things on her own terms. But Yolanda realized this was getting out of control.
