MOVIE fans can now stay in a stunning home that was featured in a famous Hollywood film for just £60 a night.

The property was one of the main locations in Richard Curtis’ time-traveling romantic comedy About Time.

The 2013 film follows the life of Tim Lake, played by Domhnal Gleesonwho discovers that he can travel through time.

His decision to make his world a better place through a girlfriend is not easy for him.

Much of the filming was done at Portloe on the Roseland Peninsula, at the church at nearby St Michael’s Penkivel and at Porthpean House.

The country house can accommodate 21 people and has four double bedrooms, five twin bedrooms, three single bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

It also has a drawing room, a games room, a comfortable sitting area, an office, a dining room, two kitchens and a spacious garden.

The property description states: “Sleep to the soothing sound of the waves on the shore and stroll barefoot through the garden to the beach.”

Prices start at £3,600 in the low season and rise to £13,000 in the summer.

Mid-season, a week shared between 21 people costs around £60 per person.

A fan called Harriet Limb stayed in the house and shared a video on TikTok during their stay.

Footage shows both the interior and exterior of the property, with Gleeson’s character heard saying, “The truth is, I’m not going back at all now, not even for a day.”

And the social media users reacted quickly to the video, which received more than 750,000 views and over 130,000 likes.

One said, “Where is this and how do I go?”

Another commented: “If someone got married there I’d do the photography for free, I’m serious, I’ll stick to it.”

A third remarked: “Someone is getting married here.”

A final person quipped, “Fine, I’ll watch it again.”
